ClamAV can be used with HAVP to provide a reliable antivirus web proxy (Http and Ftp). My experience showed that a P4 2,8 GHz with 1Gb Ram could easily handle 50 users on a 4 MB/s line with no noticeable slowdown.

I have also tested this proxy with ClamAV on AMD SEMPRON 1,6 GHz and 256 Mb Ram (500 Mb Ram swap). It works fine. This config is ok until about 50 users.
