(RichardVinke:) The file "clamd-0.xx.rpm" is not available for fedora5. I am using "rpm -Uvh" without this file. I needed the following post-install actions:
Change the ownership of the directory "/var/lib/clamav" to the user as stated in the configuration file.
Rename the "/etc/clamd.conf.rpmsave" to "/etc/clamd.conf". Why is the upgrade through "rpm -Uvh" doing this?
You must upgrade the rpms at the same time, otherwise it will result in dependencies of the previous installation
Updates Particular to Fedora 6:
As Richard Mentions, "The file "clamd-0.xx.rpm" is not available..." you should grab clamav-server-0.XX.rpm and install that in its place. (Worked for me with no issue).
